Legendary pop act opens Strictly Come Dancing Blackpool show with showstopping medley

A legendary pop act opened Strictly Come Dancing’s Blackpool show with a showstopping medley to kick start week nine of the competition.

The Pet Shop Boys dazzled the Blackpool ballroom to open Saturday’s live show (16 November).

Dressed in silver, singer Neil Tennant and keyboard player Chris Lowe performed a selection of their hits including, It’s A Sin, West End Girls and What Have I Done?

The duo were joined by the Strictly professionals on the dance floor for the iconic show opener.
