SNL stars attempt Manchester accents in Oasis reunion spoof
Saturday Night Live (SNL) stars attempted Manchester accents as part of a sketch parodying the Oasis reunion.
In the episode on 12 October, James Austin Johnson and Sarah Sherman starred in the Weekend Update section as Liam and Noel Gallagher.
During the sketch, the Britpop brothers reassured host Colin Jost that the band won’t split up again before their 2025 reunion tour.
However, the comedians' accents prompted British viewers to compare their voices to Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins.
Liam responded by asking: "Are they meant to be comedians?"
