Miranda Hart teases fans with glimpse of her new husband after her surprise marriage announcement

The comedian announced “someone put a ring on it” when she appeared on The One Show on Tuesday (8 October).

She said: “I got married at 51, and it’s just so lovely.”

After her television appearance, the comedian, who did not reveal the identity of her new husband, posted a video thanking fans for their support.

Her new husband appeared to be sat next to her as he gave her a high-five.

Posting a video on X, she said: “I’ve got my best friend to do life with and it’s wonderful and I’m also utterly thrilled to be back in telly land and having a book out so thanks so much for all your support.”
