Billy McFarland announces Fyre Festival II ticket price despite having no location or lineup secured
Billy McFarland has announced that tickets have gone on sale for Fyre Festival II at an eye-watering price.
The promoter was sentenced in October 2018 to six years in prison for fraud over the disastrous first festival, which was the subject of a Netflix documentary.
In a video posted on Sunday (20 August) McFarland, 31, shared that he devised a 50-page plan during a seven-month stint in solitary confinement.
Ticket prices for Fyre Festival II range from $499 (£390) to $7,999 (£6258), despite no confirmation of a lineup or a location beyond “the Caribbean.”
