Eamonn Holmes reveals needing carers to help him with simple things is ‘humiliating’
Eamonn Holmes has said needing carers to help him with simple tasks is “humiliating”.
The 64-year-old, who uses a wheelchair as he suffers from chronic back pain, opened up about his experience as he hosted GB News on Wednesday (3 July).
The presenter and his co-host Ellie Costello were discussing care workers as part of a special general election segment.
Eamonn said: “I just want to say, what you do, I have been basically disabled for a year and a half or so and I have to have a career to do the smallest simplest things and it's humiliating and humbling - but thank goodness that carers are available.”
