Watch: Dynamo buried alive in nail-biting TV stunt

Dynamo achieved “the feat that Houdini failed to do” as he escaped from being buried alive without a coffin on Thursday evening (14 December).

The Bradford magician, real name Steven Frayne, had over five tonnes of soil poured on top of him for the act, which took place on live TV.

In front of Gateshead’s iconic Angel of the North, Dynamo climbed down into the 6ft-deep grave and laid down before a digger covered him in soil.

Two minutes and 57 seconds later, he returned to the surface, escaping through the dirt.
