Bob Ross Inc. responds to controversial Netflix documentary

‘Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal, and Greed’ was released in August on Netflix, a documentary exploring the legacy of artist Bob Ross.

Bob Ross Inc. has said that the documentary is an “inaccurate and heavily slanted portrayal” of their company.

The Netflix special shares details about the artist’s death and the following legal battles that ensued.

The documentary was produced by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, who shared that they “never intended to set out and create a hit piece”.
