Watch viral BBC presenter’s previously unseen countdown before making rude gesture on camera
The full clip of a BBC presenter making a rude gesture on-air has surfaced.
Maryam Moshiri went viral earlier this month when she raised her eyebrows and flashed her middle finger as she started a midday news bulletin on Wednesday 6 December.
She apologised shortly after on social media, explaining that she was sharing a joke with the team in the gallery.
“I was pretending to count down as the director was counting me down from 10-0, including the fingers to show the number. So from 10 fingers held up to one,” Ms Moshiri wrote.
In the full clip, she is seen doing just that.
