David Tennant and Catherine Tate joke about never winning a Bafta while presenting award
Former Doctor Who stars David Tennant and Catherine Tate reunited at the Bafta TV awards on Sunday night (15 May) to present the Features Award.
As they stood on stage, the pair cracked a number of jokes about never winning a Bafta themselves, something that might come as quite a surprise to many fans.
“Have you got a Bafta?” Tate asked Tennant, who replied: “Nope, no Baftas here”.
They then joked about Tate’s six nominations, while awkwardly tip-toeing around the fact that Tennant has never been nominated for one himself.
