Antiques Roadshow guest shocked by true value of ‘mysterious’ object
An Antiques Roadshow expert was left confused by a “mysterious” object on Sunday night’s episode (22 October).
Adam Schoon was baffled as a guest in Derry, Northern Ireland, presented him with a paddle-shaped object from the Austral Islands in the south Pacific.
He admitted that he “didn’t really know” what the object could have been used for, with the guest suggesting it could have been a carpet beater or a paddle.
She was left shocked as Schoon informed her of the mysterious item’s true value.
