'Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey': Ted Hastings delivers iconic Line of Duty quote

Line of Duty fans were treated to one of Ted Hastings’ best quotes to date during Sunday (25 April) night’s episode, which saw Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) being interviewed by Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and Patricia Carmichael (Anna Maxwell Martin).

Davidson repeatedly gave answers of “no comment”.

“Jesus, Mary and Joseph and the wee donkey, can we just move this thing along before it drives us all round the bloody bend?” Hastings said in response.

“TED HAS THE BEST LINES AND DON’T TELL ME OTHERWISE,” one fan wrote.
