Watch live as Putin speaks at international energy conference in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin is speaking at an international energy conference in Moscow as the European gas crisis rolls on.

Putin last week attempted to alleviate the situation by saying that Russian energy giant Gazprom would increase supplies into the market to help drive down prices.

However, it’s likely that the country will seek concessions in return – such as the approval of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline into Germany which the EU has been accused of dragging its feet on.
