Cars stranded in Glasgow flooding days before key Cop26 climate summit
Glasgow has been hit by flooding just days before the key Cop26 climate conference is due to commence in the city.
Several videos have been posted on social media of the deluge in the city, with climate change making more unpredictable weather events such as this more likely.
Glasgow residents complained of roads such as Maryhill Road, Byres Road and Duke Street being submerged in water – with cars becoming stranded like in the above video.
