Travel Agenda: Holland House; Heathrow Airport Great British Food Fortnight; new links from Britain to the Mediterranean
Today: Celebrate all things Dutch in London. Holland House, now in its fifth year, marks the national day of the Netherlands with a free party from midday to 8pm in Trafalgar Square. Expect live music, DJs, children's activities, clog-making workshops, a Dutch market and free tours of Dutch paintings in the National Gallery (holland.com).
This week: Before jetting off to foreign shores and exotic cuisines, enjoy our own home-grown produce: Heathrow Airport Great British Food Fortnight starts on Monday. Outlets throughout the airport's terminals will be offering special dishes, (heathrowairport.com). For a real escape, look to Botswana, where the luxurious Chief's Camp, pictured, opens on Wednesday with bush pavilions and a viewing deck overlooking the Okavango Delta (sanctuaryretreats.com).
In the diary: New links from Britain to the Mediterranean include Birmingham to Antalya with Pegasus Airlines on 2 May (flypgs.com) and Vueling's new route from Edinburgh to Barcelona on 24 June (vueling.com).
