Seaside break in August: One holiday, three ways

Each week we approach three companies for their best offer on a particular holiday. This week, a seaside break in August. Prices are based on two travelling together, apart from the family option which is the per-person price based on two adults and two children.

Self-catering: £715, Holiday cottages

Includes a week's self-catering in the one-bedroom Coastline apartment in Ilfracombe, north Devon, starting 22 August. Light and spacious, the one bedroom cottage features sea views and a juliet balcony. Hotel: £507, Britain's Finest

Includes two nights' B&B for two, starting 21 August, in a sea-view room at The Greenbank Hotel, Falmouth, Cornwall, plus dinner and champagne on both nights and a champagne afternoon tea. Family: £214, Haven Holidays

Includes a week's self catering in a two-bed caravan at Primrose Valley Holiday Park, near Filey, North Yorkshire, arriving 21 August. The cliff-top park has access to a sandy beach.
