Musical Rajasthan
Songlines magazine has launched a musical tour of Rajasthan in October. It includes workshops with experts, performances in the desert and a grand finale at the Rajasthan International Folk Festival at Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. There are two options: a 15-day itinerary from 8 October for £1,800pp, or a 12-day trip for £1,650pp from 11 October. Sicily in September
Long Travel has released a range of packages to Sicily that incorporate Ryanair's new route to the south of the Italian island. All the following include a week's accommodation, car hire and Ryanair flights from Stansted to Comiso, in the province of Ragusa, on 18 September. Indian Ocean escape
Book ahead for a beach break in the Maldives. Trailfinders is offering a week's stay at the luxurious Coco Palm resort, with breakfast and Sri Lankan Airlines flights from Heathrow via Colombo in October for £1,399pp, including a seaplane transfer over the archipelago (trailfinders.com).
