Each week, we invite travel companies to offer us their best deal for a specific break. This week: a family holiday escape during the school summer holidays (departures any time from 25 July, returning no later than 30 August). Prices are per person, based on a family of four (two adults and two children) travelling together, and are for properties that still have good availability during the period.

Barbados: £1,314, Virgin Holidays

Woburn Forest: £182, Center Parcs

Includes three nights from 21 August in a two-bedroom Woodland Lodge at the Woburn Forest Center Parcs, which opened in 2014.
