Your support makes all the difference.The wait is over for Disney and Star Wars fans, as the first photo of the finished Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge theme park has been released.
The 14-acre attraction, which reportedly cost $1 billion (£773 million) to construct, opens on Friday 31 May in Anaheim, California.
The super-sized tribute to the world’s legendary film franchise will then be unveiled at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, on 29 August.
Star Wars star John Boyega leaked a picture of the new park on Instagram.
The actor, who plays Finn in the futuristic fantasy series, visited the site ahead of its official opening.
Posting the first-look picture to his Instagram account, he thanked the crew, writing: “Meet the amazing cast of Batuu ready to give the fans all around the world the most immersive Star Wars experience!
“Star Wars #GalaxysEdge opens its doors in one week at @disneyland and don’t you worry i’ll be there to help guide you through one of the most insane rides! It was a pleasure to work with the team on this. Enjoy and may the force be with you.”

Visitors to the new attraction have been told they will only get four-hour time slots inside the new land at the California park for the first three weeks after opening, and must reserve a place in advance.
A Disneyland spokesperson said that the time limit was devised to try and reduce congestion and excessive queueing.
The park has even said it will offer bathroom passes for visitors waiting in queues for hours on end.
As well as a host of rides and amusements, the park will also include a series of restaurants with names inspired by Star Wars, such as Oga’s Cantina and Ronto Roasters.
In a first for the theme park, the food and drink outlets will also serve alcohol.
