Cheese hotel suite to open for one night only, with on-demand cheese hotline delivery service
It’s free to stay at

A cheese-themed hotel suite is opening for just one night in Camden, London.
Café Rouge has announced that two guests will get a free stay in the room, which is dedicated to all things fromage.
Giant cheese installations, cheese-themed cookbooks, cheese board games and a cheesy music playlist all come as standard, plus a mini bar stacked with cheese and wine.
The suite also includes a “cheese hotline delivery service” – meaning guests can request more cheese on demand.
Included in the prize is a £50 giftcard to cover a meal for two at Café Rouge, where there will be even more opportunities to top up the cheese intake with the restaurant chain’s new winter menu, which includes a cheesy afternoon tea.
The only downside is that the suite will only be available for one night, and brie fans have to enter a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning.
Check-in is at 3pm on Friday 7 February, with check-out at 10am the following day.
Cheese fiends can be in with a chance by emailing thecheesesuite@caferouge.co.uk.
It’s not the first offbeat hotel room. In January 2019, the Hilton London Bankside launched London’s first vegan hotel suite, complete with soy-silk curtains, pinatex (a leather substitute made from pineapple leaves) cushions and organic cotton carpets.
The suite also features an all-vegan mini-bar, vegan toiletries in recycled packaging, and a pillow menu including buckwheat and millet-filled options.
Rather than being a pop-up for Veganuary, the suite is available to book all year round.
