The Sant Jaume is situated on a pretty, quiet street a few minutes walk from popular streets such as La Rambla, Avenue Sant Jaume III, Plaça Major and the Sant Nicolas shopping district. Key sights such as Palma Cathedral, Almudaina Palace and the beaches are a short taxi ride away. A particularly good restaurant to visit is Aromata, overseen by Uber-creative Michelin-starred chef Andreau Genestra.

By plane: there are direct flights from London (2 hours 25 mins), Manchester (2 hours 40 mins) and Edinburgh (3 hours). The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca airport. Book flights to Mallorca.

The eighteenth-century light stone façade gives way to a lobby painted a deep, intense, earthy dark blue, with a tall atrium, an inviting swish bar on one side and the restaurant on the other. Stylish furniture, fine rugs, stone floors and designer lighting all combine to create a very pleasing look.

Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, and as well as the bar and restaurant, the hotel has a well-equipped small gym and spa with a heated pool, sauna, contrast shower and therapy rooms. The hotel has a yacht moored nearby in the Bay of Palma, which can be chartered by guests.
