THE WINTER series of charter flights to India and Sri Lanka has opened up the market for cut- price trips to the subcontinent; but two sectors of society are excluded. The Indian and Sri Lankan governments have banned passport holders of their respective countries from travelling on these flights. The move is designed to prevent their nationals using the charters at the expense of Air India and Air Lanka.
