After 15 years running as the Futuresonic festival, the event has been re-branded as the FutureEverything festival and is celebrating a full program that includes "world premieres of astonishing artworks, an explosive city-wide music program, and visionary thinkers from around the world across 4 festival strands - Art, Music, Ideas and Showcase." FutureEverything encompasses a conference about future ideas and technologies, the Fab Lab Art Challenge, a city debate that will explore the future of Manchester, an awards ceremony and a host of satellite events and workshops that help people to creatively explore ideas that will enrich our lives in the future. In 2009 the festival drew 75,000 visitors.

Google I/O is the company's largest developer event of the year. The intensive two-day event focuses on development for Android, Google Chrome, Google APIs, GWT, App Engine, and open web technologies. The event will feature 80 sessions and more than 100 demonstrations given by some of the more than 3,000 developers expected to attend the event. It's the place to talk with the engineers building the next generation of web, mobile and enterprise applications.

The Australian edition of the world's largest digital IT and telecommunications event, CeBIT will take place in Sydney, Australia. CeBIT Australia is hailed as the country's largest ICT exhibition (but is only around a 10th of the size of its parent event, CeBIT in Hannover). CeBIT Australia is a focal point of an additional series of events (including AusInnovate, eHealth, eGovernment, Enterprise, National Broadband Network and WebForward) that will run concurrently to the exhibition. More than 550 exhibitors and 37,000 delegates are expected to attend CeBIT Australia in 2010.

The 30th edition of Computex Taipei, is organized by Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Computer Association. It is now the largest computer exhibition in Asia, second in the world only to CeBIT in Germany. Many large computing firms have research and development centers or production factories in Taiwan and they come to Computex Taipei to launch their new products. Almost 120,000 visitors attended Computex Taipei in 2009 to see products and services from over 1,700 exhibitors.
