As such, each participant is given five minutes on stage and can present only 20 slides. The events, which have been taking place since 2006, can be summed up as a "hectic night of geek contests, five-minute talks, and beer." Check the website for an event near you or log onto the Ignite website to watch the more than 500 talks broadcast live.
