Three down: Internet still not working for some users as mobile network tells people to switch their phones off and on again

People with phones on Three are still unable to get on the network, a day and a half after it stopped working.
The company has been hit by one of its biggest outages in history, which stopped data connections as well as phone calls from connecting.
Though Three claims the issues have now been cleared up, numerous users still report they are unable to get online.
Now the network has suggested switching phones off and on again to force them to connect once more.
"Good morning, if you’re still having issues connecting to our network this morning, please do try and restart your phone or turn your airplane mode on and off again," said Three on Twitter. "This will help to reconnect you."
Three had initially spent a significant portion of the outage suggesting that the issue could be with users' phones or their SIM cards. But it quickly became clear that the problem was with the network, amid a vast number of reports coming from across all of the UK.
The network said that affected customers could try using other people's phones as a hotspot, if they were on other networks.
It then said that the issues had been cleared up and that network connections would be restored. Its engineers had been working through the night to get the remaining affected users online, it said.
