The internet video giant YouTube is launching a UK film rental service after sealing deals with distributors and studios such as Sony, Universal and Warner Brothers.
Users will be able to rent more than 1,000 films – from Red Riding Hood to The Meaning Of Life – online.
The films will be streamed online, so customers will need an internet connection to be able to watch.
