Over a thousand eager technophiles queued outside Apple's Regent Street store yesterday, as the group officially launched the latest version of its iconic iPhone.
The iPhone 4 is another device to have Apple fans salivating, just weeks after the successful launch of its tablet computer, the iPad. The new iPhone is more slimline than its predecessors and has introduced video calling, dubbed FaceTime, as well as a newly overhauled operating system.
Luke Peters, the editor of T3 magazine, said: "Apple has an unparalleled knack for creating anticipation and excitement around its gadgets, that will come to a head again with the launch of the iPhone 4."
