Using only a katana, a butane canister and some pipes, this guy made his own Shishkebab sword

From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

Bethseda has given players loads of items, environments and characters to play around with, including the so-called 'Shishkebab' - an upgraded version of the flaming sword weapon that first made an appearance in Fallout 3.
The Shishkebab in Fallout 3 was little more than a lawnmower blade with a motorbike fuel tank attached.
It's been beefed up for Fallout 4, and it's made from an actual sword this time. It's wielded by Slag, the miniboss at the Saugus Ironworks. Killing him gives you access to this weapon, which will conveniently let you chop people up and set them on fire at the same time.
Loads of people have made their own Pip-Boys and Fallout adventurer costumes, but one YouTuber went one step further, and made his own replica Shishkebab, modelled exactly on the one from the game.
Caleb Kraft, from the popular YouTube channel Make, jerry-rigged together a katana, a butane canister and a motorbike brake lever.
Whenever the handle is squeezed to let out the butane, which is directed through copper pipes to the blade.
Another button creates sparks to ignite the flames, and the Shishkebab comes to life.
Better yet, the bizarre weapon is painted and designed to look exactly like the one from the game.
It might not be the most practical weapon for dispatching mutants, but it certainly made light work of some magazine and cardboard, as demonstrated in the video.
Plenty of great games have come out recently, but few inspire the same level of ingenuity from fans as the Fallout series.
