The Resident Evil box set doesn't contain latest release Resident Evil 5 - but there is a handy space within it for the copy that you already own, naturally.

The survival horror series, known as Biohazard in Japan, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year, and the limited run Biohazard 15th Anniversary Box contains five games from the series.

Biohazard 1, 2 and 3 are the original PlayStation games, and they can also be played on a PlayStation 3.

The PS3's Biohazard: Revival Selection, also contained within the Box, is an HD remaster of both Biohazard Code: Veronica and Biohazard 4 (aka Resident Evil 4). It's due out on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network around the same time as the Anniversary Box's September 8 launch.

There's also room for the Code: Veronica and Biohazard 4 soundtrack CDs, along with various pins and stickers.

Resident Evil popularized the survival horror genre, whose legacy continues with games such as Left 4 Dead 2 (360/PC), Dead Space 2 (360/PC/PS3), Siren: Blood Curse (PS3 download), Amnesia (Mac/PC), and Deadly Premonition (360/Japanese PS3).

Series creator Shinji Mikami oversaw the development of recent horror comedy Shadows of the Damned (360/PS3).
