Amazon Prime Day: Best TV deals
Tuesday's offers are more enticing than Monday's
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Amazon has just sent its second wave of Prime Day 2017 deals live, and we’re pleased to confirm that today’s discounts are more appealing than yesterday’s.
The company has slashed the prices of several TVs, with the headline deal being the LG 55UJ630V 55-inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED TV for £689.
That’s a huge reduction from its recommended retail price of £1,029.99, and is well worth your consideration.
It’s one of LG’s latest models, and features a stunning screen and slick design.
If that’s a little too big for your living room, you can instead go for the LG 49UJ630V 49-inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED TV, which is down to £499 (RRP £729).
A touch smaller than that is the LG 43UJ630V 43-inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart LED TV, which is available for £379 (RRP £599.99).
If none of the offers above tickles your fancy, you can keep an eye on the Lightning Deals section, which contains completely different listings that launch and expire throughout the day.
You need to be an Amazon Prime member in order to access the Prime Day deals.
The subscription service also gets you one-day delivery on orders, but costs £79 per year or £7.99 per month.
Fortunately, you can sign up for a free 30-day Amazon Prime trial ahead of Prime Day, and cancel it later.
