Ronda Rousey lost her previously undefeated record when she was astonishingly knocked out by outsider Holly Holm at UFC 193 in Melbourne, Australia.

Rousey had been the most dominant athlete in the sport, winning her previous 12 bouts, many of those brutal knockouts of her own.

But Holly Holm, a former world boxing champion, stunned the 56,000-crowd at the Etihad Stadium with a violent kick to the head 59 seconds into the second round.

Rousey fell to the floor with the referee stopping the bout after Holm continued to land blows.

The fight has been called the biggest upset in UFC history.

But speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon around a month ago, Rousey appeared to predict her own downfall - with the below Vine likely to become an internet meme for the foreseeable future.

“She’s the type of fighter you have to be very patient with,” Rousey said. “She’s going to try to keep distance and keep far away from me and keep me frustrated and to the point where I’ll make a mistake and she’ll try to kick me in the head – but it’s not going to go like that.”

Unfortunately for Rousey it went exactly like that.
