Jose Aldo's cornerman watches his fighter get knocked out
Conor McGregor inflicted Jose Aldos' first loss in 11 years on Saturday night with a devastating 13-second knockout win, and the reaction from Aldo's corner was priceless (watch video below).
After his triumph, the Irishman McGregor said he felt sorry for his Brazilian opponent, after claiming his UFC Featherweight title.
“Jose has been a phenomenal champion,” McGregor said at the post-fight press conference. “It would’ve been nice if the contest had of stretched out a little bit longer just for all that it’s been through, but I still feel the same process would’ve happened. Timing beats speed; precision beats power. That’s it. I respect Jose. I wish him well, but now we are on to the next chapter.”

“I think we need a rematch and that will be my fight. The trash talking didn’t affect me, I don’t care what he says,” he said. “Thanks to everyone watching in Brazil and thank you for the support. I will be back.”
