Darryll Holland and Lindsay Charnock joined the growing list of suspended jockeys when they were banned for seven and 10 days respectively by the Jockey Club's disciplinary committee yesterday. Both bans will begin next Tuesday, the opening day of Glorious Goodwood.

The jockeys admitted being in breach of Jockey Club instructions in that they had used their whips with unreasonable frequency. Martin Brennan and Carl Llewellyn had 10-day bans reduced to four days on appeal.
