Alex Bogdanovic will face the winner of the match between Tim Henman and Andy Murray in the second round of the Thailand Open in Bangkok. The 22-year-old British No 4, ranked 148 in the world, lost a first-set tie-break to Yeu-Tzuoo Wang of Taiwan, but responded to win the second and third sets 6-4.
Murray and Henman are due to go head-to-head this morning for the third time this year. The 19-year-old Scot has won the two previous meetings, in Toronto and Cincinnati.
The second seed Marcos Baghdatis has been forced to pull out of the tournament because of a shoulder injury. The Australian Open finalist could be out for up to three weeks - hitting his hopes of playing in the end-of-season Masters Cup.
