Sports Listings: Plan Ahead
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.
Your support makes all the difference.Ireland's Test against the rugby union World champions, Australia, at Lansdowne Road, Dublin, tomorrow is the first of series of international contests between the British Isles countries and the southern hemisphere nations.
In two weeks' time England play South Africa at Twickenham, where a fortnight later Australia will meet the Barabarians at the end of their tour of Ireland and Wales.
Next summer the focus switches to New Zealand where the British Lions will play three Tests against the All Blacks - 12 June, Canterbury; 26, Wellington; 3 July, Auckland - on their 13-match tour starting on 22 May.
A number of companies are running packages, but for those on holiday in New Zealand who wish to go to matches tickets should be available on the day for provincial games. The Tests will be almost certainly sold out and it is advisable to purchase them in advance. Tickets for the Tests cost around pounds 12 to pounds 13 and the provincial games around pounds 8 to pounds 9. For further information contact the New Zealand RFU.
