SALFORD have signed the New Zealand Test winger, Jason Williams, who will arrive from his Australian club, Canterbury, next month and will stay until January. Oldham have signed another New Zealander, the Manukau prop, Jason Timu, and have also taken Neil Battye, the former Castleford foward who retired through injury, on a 12-month contract.
