Robert Fleck, Chelsea's former Scotland striker, has joined Bristol City on a month's loan.

Kevin Scott, an £850,000 signing by Tottenham from Newcastle 11 months ago, yesterday joined Port Vale on a month's loan. Bryan Small, the Aston Villa full-back, has turned down a similar spell at Vale Park.

Nigel Jemson, the Notts County striker, is set to join Watford on a month's loan.

Queen's Park Rangers' home Premiership game with Chelsea, postponed on 3 January, has been rescheduled for Wednesday 1 February.

Jan Eriksson, the Swedish international, has been transfered to the German club, Kaiserslautern, from IFK Norrkoping.

Claudio Taffarel, Brazil's goalkeeper in the World Cup finals, has joined the Brazilian club, Atletico Mineiro, from Parma of Italy.

The Spanish club, Deportivo la Coruna, are to sign the 20-year-old Brazilian, Amoroso, from Atletico Guarani for around £3m.
