The Football Confederation of Central and North America and the Caribbean are to change their name after 38 years of being known as Concacaf. They will now be known as The Football Confederation.

Namibia have dropped almost their entire squad after a pay rebellion as they prepare for their scheduled home second leg of the Cosafa Cup final against Angola. The Namibian Football Association dropped 14 players following the dispute on the eve of the first leg, which Angola won 1- 0 in Luanda on Sunday.
