INDIA are to use the third umpire system for the first time for the semi-

finals and final of the Cricket Association of Bengal's five-nations Diamond Jubilee tournament in Calcutta this week.

CHRIS CAIRNS, the New Zealand all-rounder, has recovered from a bruised heel and is set to return for the second Test against Australia which starts in Hobart on Friday. Cairns, 23, suffered the injury during the drawn first Test last week and missed New Zealand's victory in the four-day match against South Australia in Adelaide.
