INDIA will play their Davis Cup semi-final against Australia on grass courts at Chandigarh from 24 to 26 September. The other semi-final between Sweden and Germany will be played on clay in the northern Swedish city of Borlange.

MARY PIERCE, who dropped her father as her coach a week ago, said yesterday that she is now working with Gabriela Sabatini's former coach, Angel Gimenez. Pierce, the world No 14, also said she has filed a restraining order against her father who was banned in May from the women's tour for two years because of disruptive behavior.
