MIKE McCALLUM, the former World Boxing Association middleweight champion from the United States, has declared an interest in fighting Nigel Benn for his World Boxing Council super-middleweight title.

CHRIS PYATT, the World Boxing Council International middleweight champion from Leicester, makes the first defence of his title against the Puerto Rican, Danny Garcia, at the Granby Halls in his home town on 26 January.

RICHIE WOODHALL, from Telford, is to defend his Commonwealth middleweight title against the Canadian, Jacques Le Blanc, at Wolverhampton on 20 January. Woodhall's manager, Mickey Duff, is aiming to arrange a European title fight for Woodhall next year against Sambu Kalambay, of Italy.
