THE West Coast Eagles, who are based in Perth, became the first team outside the state of Victoria to win a Grand Final Championship with a 28-point victory in Melbourne yesterday over Geelong. The Eagles trailed for two quarters but scored 10 goals to four after half-time to take the title.
