Snooker: McManus dampens Irish fire

Alan McManus stayed on course for a double by reaching the final of the Benson & Hedges Irish Masters with a 6-4 victory over Fergal O'Brien at Goffs, Co Kildare. McManus, who won the Wembley Masters last month, will become only the fourth player to take both crowns if he wins today's 17-frame final.
