Katja Seizinger, of Germany won the women's World Cup downhill in Veysonnaz, Switzerland, yesterday, to extend her almost unbeatable lead in the discipline's standings. Seizinger skied the 2.5km course in 1min 34.41sec, 0.09sec ahead of Canada's Kerrin Lee-Gartner. Another German, Miriam Vogt, was third.
