The England women's captain, Katy McLean, is determined to lay down a marker against Canada this evening ahead of next year's World Cup.
The two sides meet at the Stoop having been drawn in the same pool for next year's showpiece tournament in France. England lost to Canada twice in the summer and McLean is desperate for revenge.
"They'll definitely be up for this after the World Cup draw," she said. "This fixture definitely now has added meaning. It is going to be all about the bragging rights. This match is now a heads-up for both sides as it could well be the last time we play each other before the World Cup."
