Uruguay scored against England? 12 years ago was the last time Uruguay scored in a World Cup, until they broke their duck against Fiji with two. However, we like watching the underdogs score against the big boys. Remember Japan against South Africa? Romania v New Zealand? It’s just worth mentioning the 17 tries scored by the English.
Player to watch…
Henry Slade: Despite shining in the warm up match against France, he hasn’t had a chance to show off his immense skillset. Now he finds himself in the strange position of having not one, but two fly halves in the 10 and 12 shirts. He may well find himself playing at 10 part way through the match when Joseph comes on, but he is a wonderful player for his club, Exeter. Look out for his hefty left foot.
