England captain Chris Robshaw said his side will take the positives out of their 24-21 defeat to New Zealand at Twickenham.

"The first half we played really well in the right areas," Robshaw told Sky Sports 2.

"Unfortunately in the second half the conditions came down and we could not get field position.

"I think if you look at the first half we hurt them. Unfortunately we played quite deep in the second half."

Robshaw said positives will be taken from the game, adding: "We've got a huge three weeks ahead of us now."

New Zealand captain Richie McCaw said: "It was a good old classic Test match."
