Jonathan Joseph scored two tries to inspire England to a 47-17 victory over Italy to send them top of the Six Nations championship.

Having scored the match-changing try in the victory over Wales, Joseph added two breathtaking efforts either side of half time to help England overcome a nervy start that saw Sergio Parisse crash over to give the visitors a surprise lead.

But soon enough Billy Vunipola put England ahead and Joseph lit up Twickenham with his first try coming from deep . Ben Youngs then outwitted the Italian defence to score from a tap-and-go penalty, but only after Italian centre Luca Morisi scored the first of his two tries.

A second score from Joseph, plus efforts from replacements Danny Cipriani and Nick Easter, secured the victory, though Morisi touched down late with his second to score a consolation.

So how did the players rate at Twickenham?
