'Everything is very, very healthy'
I'm a bit disappointed, to be honest, because we did not score a try, but our commitment was fantastic. I'm delighted that we've beaten them two years running. It's good for English rugby, everything is very, very healthy. No one lost their bottle after our defeat in Dublin – although some of the media did. We've been playing well for two or three years and lost one game and everyone panics.

Clive Woodward, England coach
This is right up there with the best in terms of all-round performance. Today was first class. We kept hold of the ball and dominated possession and territory. We said before the game that win or lose, we do it with dignity and honour. We did not do that in Ireland and we did today. It's been hard work this week, a tough test but the guys pulled through. It's all about winning and that's what we've done.
Neil Back, England captain
They kept coming, didn't they? That's the mark of a great team, they never give up, but it was a great performance by us, what can I say? We had to keep our composure after Dublin and we knew what we had to do.
Graham Rowntree, England forward and man of the match
