SAM SCOTT-YOUNG has kept his place at No 8 in Australia's team to play New Zealand in Brisbane on Sunday for the second of the three Bledisloe Cup matches after a storming performance during the 16-15 win in the first Test.

The Queenslander, who had 13 stitches inserted in a head wound after the opening game in Sydney the Saturday before last, is preferred to Tim Gavin, missing initially because of a bruised thigh.

Australia's only change is the recall at full-back of Marty Roebuck, who has recovered from a gashed lip. The only minor worry for the side who have now won a record nine successive matches concerns Jason Little. The centre is still feeling the effects of glandular fever, which kept him out of last month's two Test wins over Scotland.

AUSTRALIA (second Test v New Zealand, Brisbane, Sunday): M Roebuck; P Carozza, J Little, T Horan, D Campese; M Lynagh, N Farr-Jones (capt); T Daly, P Kearns, E McKenzie, J Eales, R McCall, T Coker, S Scott-Young, D Wilson.
