London Crusaders could be under new ownership by Christmas. Maurice Lindsay, the Rugby League's chief executive, acting on behalf of the Second Division club, has met a London-based consortium and described the talks as 'progressive and encouraging.' He added: 'Negotiations will continue this week and a final decision on the likelihood of a takeover will probably be made early next week.'
